Disney keep doing the Columbo thing. “We’re done here. Oh! There was just one more thing.” I love it.
Just off the colour palette and design alone, Rays and the Last Dragon has captured me. As for Soul, it’s Disney-Pixar. Enough said.
The take-away here is that Disney really seem to be getting behind female protagonists, and female protagonists of colour. It’s the right move.
