Color work on Dark Lunas. I liked the idea of a violent, future barbarian style adventure book cast in pastel-ish hues. Attempting a surprising, yet effective contrast in style/expectation. It’s still very much a work in progress, but here are some random shots. Limited color palette and very little rendering. It’s all about storytelling with color, setting a mood, and driving clarity. The choice of color is key, not the render.
