The Basilica of the National Shrine of the blessed virgin of Ta’Pinu is considered as one of the top shrines in the Maltese Islands. It’s built between 1920 and 1931 located some 700 metres from the village of Gharb on the Island of Gozo in an open countryside which allows visitors to enjoy beautiful views of the area. It has a very stunning architecture on the outside and even more beautiful inside with its superb sculptures & craftsmanship in Maltese stones.
