Since Friday I've been so busy that I've only came on here to reply to messages and to follow people back that have followed me. I noticed this morning that I've reached the 1000 follower milestone. .

I started to do this page because my best friend always told me I should do more poetry and to get it out there. Having autism I struggle with anxiety and social communication, especially with people I don't know so for years I gave excuses about not giving it a go. Sadly my dear friend got cancer that was terminal and before he died he got me to promise him I'd take my poetry more seriously so that's exactly what I did. The name poemforpics comes from the idea that as he was an amazing artist he would draw pictures that represent my poems. Sadly that can't happen but at least I can post poems.

A 1000 isn't many compared to other people on here including some excellent writers but I never thought I'd get to 100 let alone 1000. Thank you all.
