Last week a total disaster happened in the shrimp tank. I found a couple of shrimps dead so I immediately did a water change and I saw that the situation was more serious than expected so I moved the shrimps in another tank and so I did for the goldfish fry I found and for the snails. I found lots of shrimps dead or dying. It was an absolute nightmare.
I think that introducing the fry in a such delicate balance was not a good idea after all. I used to fed once a week and after the fry arrived I fed twice a day.
The very bad news is that after a week even after a big water change also the plants started dying.
So today I did a 100% water change syphoning the bottom, I removed the dying plants and replanted again.
Now it looks so empty and sad but I really hope it will become a jungle as soon as possible.
