Raise your hand if you’re like me and really like writing/receiving snail mail letters! 📬
Ever since I was really young and one of my besties moved away, I’ve loved writing letters. The thrill of checking the mail to see if my friend had written and mailing cards from tiny rural post offices was pretty much the bees-knees when I was 7. And yes we did have phones and computers, but letter writing was something entirely my own.

Now letter writing is a really personal way to keep in touch with all my friends and family across the world. It’s a way to share life and travels in a way that says “hey I was really thinking about you and I spent the time to handwrite this letter, address it, buy a stamp, and mail it because you’re worth my time”. And getting letters today means even more because with WhatsApp and email I can talk to my friends who live everywhere from Amsterdam to DC to down the street in moments.
