When I'm traveling, I'm always trying to see things and places as they are.
And even though you can find beautiful mosques and historical buildings,
there are places with the houses in such a poor state that it's a miracle they're still standing.
There are buildings with the broken windows that are occupied mostly by stray cats. You can see plenty of dogs and cats on the streets that belong to nobody, running around looking for food...
And it's another reality check.
There is no travel agencies that would take you into places like this.
No travel magazine will be writing about it. And even if they would, it's one thing to read about it and another experience it.
Many of us are complaining about the bad salaries, husbands, friends or even hangovers after the weekend.
Mondays seem like the worst day ever because we need to go back to that boring job, right?
But ask yourself a question.
What if you lived in one of these houses?
What if you would have to worry every day and night?
Not sure about whether you will have a roof above your head for another day.
What if you wouldn't have a long-term job and would have to go looking for anything that would make you to survive another day?
Don't wait to be grateful for the health, people, things or moments and opportunities that you have now.
You don't want to look back and think about why you were not happy when you had it all. ❤
Wake up tomorrow and appreciate all the things and people you have in your life and you will see that it doesn't matter if it's Monday or Friday.
Your life will change for the better. ❤
