Although she was more from my mother’s timeframe, I fell in love with the little girl in the colored pencil illustrations on greeting cards and her patchwork world. A little piece of this nostalgia in my heart came out in this skirt . I’m going to try to make more elastic waistbands going further bc they seem to be able to fit multiple sizes.
