Seaworld is a theme park which is greatly known for their marine features. Kayla has been the most recent victim, as she died at the age of 30 at SeaWorld Orlando. In the wild male orcas can live up to 70 years and female orcas can live up to 100 years. Sadly, the average lifespan of a captive orca in SeaWorld is 14 years. These animals are captured and brought to captivity or are a result of SeaWorld’s “Breeding Program” which often leads to miscarriages or death at a very young age. In the wild Orcas can swim hundreds of miles a day, while in captivity they barely have enough room to swim around. They are exposed to conditions and training that are unnatural and cruel.
