Why, am I too tame to be understood
Or they've turned a deaf ear towards me
But I guess I'm done with them,
this is me and I change, what can you do?
If you want me to stay then start putting in some efforts, because I can't give when I'm empty inside.
I can't bleed when I'm lacking oxygen
Do I need to scream now, because I can no longer politely ask for attention
I'm a man of needs and I'm crawling, barely getting through the day without having all the darkness come out on the surface
How long before I get consumed and I start taking light from those who barely have it.
I'm not mad at them, I don't have a reason to be
Why would I be, when the reason for my anger is me.
I know I look calm on the surface but the waves crashing inside now threaten to flood all that I believe in.
And how long can you stay alive without having something to believe in huh.
