It’s Monday morning and I’m just thinking about how lucky I was at the weekend to be part of Thea’s naming day.
The ceremony took place outdoors at the family home and it couldn’t have been more special. Thea’s parents, Natalie and Sam worked with me to create a gorgeous ceremony for their little girl. We included personal promises, candle lighting, bubbles, petals, guide parents, a personalised nursery rhyme book and lots of wonderful stories. Not to mention Thea listened to every single word! What a superstar! There was the most awesome rainbow cake (wow!) and a fabulous array of food and drink.
The ceremony space the family had created was beautiful and Thea even had her own archway, just gorgeous.
Don’t be afraid to get creative and have a ceremony in your own home, it can be the best place for something like a naming day. Surrounded with love, where your little one feels happy, not to mention you have everything you need right there to hand!
