We always enjoy entering this impressive bookstore in Maastricht, Netherlands. Once proclaimed as ‘the most beautiful bookstore of the world’ by The Guardian in 2008. The Dominican Church is a Gothic church built in the 13th century, which served as a monastery church for the Order of Preachers or Dominicans. At the end of the 18th century, the monastery stopped and the building had various roles (from cultural events to a bicycle parking). Currently, it is a national monument and a bookstore.
