Carlton Hill in Edinburgh is the site of many monuments, including this...the Scottish National Monument.
Did you know that it was originally supposed to be another Parthenon but construction was interrupted due to the lack of funds? It was nicknamed "Scotland's Disgrace" for a while since it was never finished but that fell away and is now a well-known and loved monument! 🌎
