This photo might look posed but in reality I was laughing my head off at this situation.
In August while back in Palo Alto I was catching up with my good friend @rebeccacafiero and she asked if I wanted a new headshot. With social media, updating my websites constantly I of course said yes please! Then she mentioned she knew a great backdrop just down the road. So that leads us back to this instant where I’m standing by a Starbucks in my home town on an early Saturday with my own little paparazzi moment.
Never in my life would I have envisioned a life like the one I have today. I never dreamed of living overseas, never thought I’d own a business (let alone 4 by the age of 35), nor work in the health and fitness industry. But here we are and I wouldn’t trade it up for anything in the world.
I’m still reminded weekly just how amazing and how different our lives can be if we open our horizons and say yes to new possibilities. If I’d never let me health get so bad I wouldn’t have ordered my little brown box three years ago. I wouldn’t have had such a big health and mind transformation that I became a barre instructor. I wouldn’t have been able to mentor over 100 people now with their own health journey. And i wouldn’t have met amazing ladies like @rebeccacafiero and @mollyandcophoto who blew me away today (more on that soon!). So I leave you with this...when was the last time you said ‘ok let’s try’ to a new possibility in your life? If you can’t remember or it feels too long ago, maybe it’s time for a new ‘yes’.
