Books 79, 80, 81 and 82 look who was on holiday! Four very very different books but each in their own way a great read. I have talked before about how much I enjoy the JD Robb Eve and Roarke books and this was no exception. Great cast of characters, a gripping story and a satisfying conclusion.
You can always trust James Patterson to deliver a good story, no matter with whom he is collaborating. This concerns a First Lady who is expected to ‘stand by her man’ when the news of his infidelity breaks. I have often wondered the motivation for doing this so was interested to see it play out when a different choice is made.
Hayden Beck is the pen name of Stuart Neville whose crime books I have enjoyed previously. This is a fast paced thriller which explores the world of surrogacy and motherhood and the moral questions involved.
The Terrace is a place where you would want to live! Lots of engaging characters, Irish story telling and a warm, feel good read.
