When @michaelcazayoux and @adeecazayoux invited me to try meditating with them in the morning, my first instinct was OMG 🏃🏼♀️!

Meditation is something I’ve always “wanted to try” but it felt so abstract and I didn’t even know where to start.
✨
As someone who has to try really hard to sit still for more than a few seconds, the idea of willingly doing so was BEYOND nerve-wracking.
✨
Leaning into the discomfort and giving it a shot (thanks to Waking Up with @samharrisorg) is one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.

I’m already scheming a place to 🧘🏼♀️at home. I’m brainstorming what I want my sanctuary to look like (spoiler alert: lots of 🌱 and 🕯) and how to make my morning routine even more authentic.

The last few days were an eye opener. I don’t need to rush through my morning to start my to-do list ASAP. I am more productive through the day when I begin with a calm heart and mind. And, a bit of @romwod👆🏼
