There are days when the moon comes out and my work is done that I feel like super mom! The house is clean, babies have been cared for, quality time with my husband, got a lot of work done, and I fall asleep feeling accomplished!
There are other days the house is a disaster no matter how much I clean it, or maybe I don’t feel mentally able to clean it. My babies are loved and cared for but my attitude was all wrong, I can’t seem to get anything crossed off my list, and I have to apologize to my family for loosing my cool countless times, and I fall asleep feeling defeated... my mom always says motherhood is the hardest job you’ll ever love! At the end of the day what truly matters is my home is a place filled with love and grace! Grace for myself and my family! These boys won’t remember the house being a mess but they will remember this precious time spent with them (even when some days feel absolutely tedious!) and I’m grateful for that! We don’t have to be a perfect mom to be a good mom! Because guess what!? Perfection is impossible! Just thought we both needed that reminder 💗
