Stronger Together
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
Thanks to my son, I had a revelation today after reading this.
A discussion between my son and I:
Me: What do you think that verse means?
Him: We help each other grow and make each other strong.
Me: Mom and I help you grow and learn things?
Him: I help you all too!
After further discussion, I realized he was right. He helps sharpen us just as much as we sharpen him. He teaches us things like patience, love, etc.
One of the greatest things we can do for each other is to strengthen one another in Jesus Christ. Let's face it, in today's world, we need all the support we can get. Love one another, support one another, and encourage one another and do so with a God centered heart and motivations. We are all friends in Christ, but more importantly, we are a family in Christ. Be a reflection of God in all you do for each other and together, with God's help, we can live up to the example given to us in Jesus Christ and change the world.
Be strong and brave, do not be afraid, I am the Lord your God, I will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
