Been sitting in a terrible funk all morning. Chalking it up to hormones + anixiety. While I was having some quiet time, a beautiful yellow finch hit my picture window and died and really put me in a tizzy. It’s mate followed it into the window, but didn’t die. She was sitting there stunned so I picked her up to move to protect from my dogs and she flew away, so not all was lost. Decided I needed to paint and try to lift my spirits and this happy piece emerged. So thankful for art! See story for a quick time lapse of me painting this.
