When the copy looks like the original. An 80-year watercolor needed to be recreated for a retiring employee. This long time client asked me to make a copy of this watercolor, duplicate the hand painted mat, and pick a similar frame. We did this, along with recreating some of the original contrast in our copy and adding an engraved plate.
