A male Brown Bear skilfully strolls over the snow blanketed swamp in spring ❄️ #springawakening Large Male bears like this one, are often the first to emerge as they allow their metabolism to slowly readjust. They are followed in their emergence by adult females, younger males, females and finally mothers with their cubs. Last night we experienced a hail storm on location, as temperatures dropped in the night to -2. Fast forward a month or two, and a thick layer of snow will soon cover the Kuhmo region, and the bears will be tucked up in a deep winter sleep 😴😴😴
