Rat Race

Rich people play with people’s lives for their own pleasure. Hadn’t seen this in many years and saw it was added it to Netflix so I decided to rewatch. Was actually a little better than I remembered, not the funniest by any stretch but an enjoyable watch. I thought the performances were solid all around with Cuba Gooding Jr standing out the most to me, and there was a lot of variety in setpieces and jokes throughout. Would have liked to see the main cast interact with each other more throughout instead of each individual or pairing going off on their own separate adventures for most of the movie, especially because it felt weird that all the adventures would have taken roughly the same amount of time. The opening credit sequence is also really bad, easily the worst part of the movie. Any movie that ends with a Smashmouth concert is gonna get a recommend from me though 7/10.
