👹📺 #WhatWeDointheShadows season one (2019). I had been patiently waiting for this show ever since I heard it was announced a couple years back. To be honest, I was a little nervous about it because I love the original film. The movie might be one of my favorite comedies out there. Turns out, there was no need to be nervous because this show is hilarious. It focuses on a new crop of vampires living..umm in-living? on Staten Island New York. There is one great addition to this show, and that comes in the form of one #MattBerry. If you have a similar sense of humor then I’m sure you have seen shows like #TheMightyBoosh, #SnuffBox, and #theITcrowd. If you have then you know that Matt Berry is a comedy treasure. Side note: check out his music too! This show hits many of the same strides as the film. Ancient vampires living in a modern world just trying to get along. There are many great storylines in the series. Ones like Nadja’s reincarnated human lover Jeff, Lazlo’s cursed hat made of witch skin, The vampire council, and the constant struggle of Nandor’s familiar Guillermo. There isn’t much to say about this show other than go see it. Hell, go buy it! We need them to keep making this show so we need to support it.
