This is what our date nights look like 😍. When you're living on a super strict budget you learn to adjust. We don't get to go out to fancy restaurants. I have so many new movies I need to catch up on because finding a theater here is a rare occurrence and the cost is crazy high. We don't get to do the high adventure high cost activities or the fun little extras like mini golf or laser tag/arcades. You might be wondering why two people who are with each other literally 24/7 even need a date night but even here we get lost in our routines and monotony. It's important to take time out to focus on one another and not worry about budgeting, planning hikes, the house and animals we care for or, when we live in the van, where we're going to sleep for the night. Here our date nights are watching the sun set or dancing in the kitchen with the music up too loud or playing chess. Honestly, I love these date nights more than the fancy ones we had back home.
