Every September our local elementary school puts on a huge fundraiser where kids calculate the circumference of the track, get pledges and run a thousand times around it. Not really a thousand but 40ish laps. They have so much fun during this event, it almost feels like Christmas morning with all the excitement. They run their hearts out and the teachers do too!
