When I tell people that I’m getting my Masters in Social Work I get responses like “You want to take kids away from their family?” Or “Why would you want to work in that field? They don’t make much money”. However, by becoming a social worker you have so many options on what you can do! There are social workers who have their own clinical practice, work in hospitals, the government, schools, and more! Social work has carried this stigma where we only manage casework or labeled as home wreckers, But I’m here to say that there’s more to it! Stay tune for more 😉
