📽 "The Lighthouse" (2019), directed by Robert Eggers. 🔎The entire movie was shot on 35mm black and white film stock and has an aspect ratio of 1.19:1, which had been used by filmmakers like Fritz Lang in the early sound era. It creates the impression of very small and condensed spaces.
I can't wait to see this one, the pictures we've seen so far radiate an intense atmosphere (and I'm quite fond of the movie being in black and white, too).
Also, it features amazing actors and I'm defenitely going to watch this on the large screen in cinema.
