When I left New York I had plenty of reasons to be afraid.

I hadn’t lived in Perth for 11 years.
I had no ‘networks.’ I had 3 children to support and
I had a lawyer vividly clarifying for me the predicament I was in because of my ex husband’s unscrupulousness.
There was a lot to be upset about, and plenty of fears. Even so I had this feeling in my heart that I had to teach yoga.

I knew sometimes fear is actually cowardice.

I was in love with yoga.

Plenty of times it seemed like the most sensible option would be to take a ‘safer’ job because of my kids
it was actually because of my kids I knew I had to follow my dream.
I’m writing this for you because there might be times you know with all your heart what you must do. What you’re in love with.
And then you say to yourself, or someone else says to you, “yeah but you better not because of ...” I’ve discovered the ‘because of ...’ is why you must do it!
You don’t need networks. You don’t need to know how it will turn out. Just do it with a glad heart babe.

I don’t meant it has to be starting a business. In fact, it might be that you thought you ‘should’ be ‘doing more’ and now you’re realizing your heart’s calling you to be ‘doing less’. Perhaps you thought that you should prove yourself, but actually what you truly feel called to do is support someone else and their dream because that’s meaningful to you as well. Because their dream is one of oneness.

So please don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying everybody has to do the same thing, or ‘play bigger,’ or go out on a limb and quit their job and divorce their husband lol 😂 😂

What I’m getting at is: if you catch yourself saying ‘I should ...” that’s a form of violence:
If you’re doing things for people because you think you should, I bet you they’re not appreciating it.
They’re probably feeling the weight of your disappointment too.
I’m talking about living meaningfully, bravely, truthfully and in love.

Moment to moment.
I believe you gain momentum that is truly phenomenal.

And we all love that. And I love you.
