It’s hard to escape fate especially if one is destined to be fat. I had 20 minutes to kill before my lunch appointment so I prowled Hong Lim Food Center looking for new stalls.
As I approached Outram Park Char Kway Teow stall, there were 4 persons in the queue. Guess it was a no-brainer 🥰🥰🥰 I joined the queue and ended up with a meal that I longed for but always got put off by the long wait.
As I finished the kway teow, I looked up and saw only one person queuing for Tai Wah Pork Noodle. 😱😱😱 Now, this was definitely not an opportunity to be missed. Not only is the queue perpetually long, the owner cooks like a sloth. So I had a second pre-lunch appetizer!
I guess I have to blindfold myself next time I cut through the food center. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
