Dante's View in the Death Valley National Park. Dante's View is an overlook in the Black Mountains located a mile over the lowest point in North America i.e., the Badwster Basin. The difference in temperature between the two elevations can be as high as 30F at the same moment. The mountain peak in the background, the Telescope Peak in the Panamint range, is the highest point in the park. Also seen is the Devil's Golf Course on the right side of the photo.
