First stop today, St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site. Trying to explore a little further afield when in NYC.
1. The church was built in the 1700s from local stone.
2. The original organ still works.
3. The church was used as a hospital during the revolutionary war.
4. A view from the balcony. Each pew was sponsored by a family. The more you gave, the closer you sat.
