When I came home from the studio last night, in my mailbox was the Independent Music Award @imabuzz I won last year with @andrew_foord — originally they just gave us a certificate, but now they’ve pressed it on a red vinyl. It’s pretty neat! In theory, I should frame it and hang it up but I still haven’t done that with my Yale diploma either: it’s sitting in a box in my closet. I guess I’m too busy thinking about what I need to focus on next to accomplish my next goals to take a few minutes to celebrate the small victories along the way.
