We took a 2+ hour trail ride in Custer State Park from Blue Bell Lodge stables along French Creek. Mike rode Repeat and I rode Fred, who was a little pokey. Jacey, riding Big Red, was our trail guide. We rode amidst Ponderosa Pines, some of which were burnt from forest fires. We also saw some fishermen along French Creek. It was rather chilly but at least the sun came out eventually. I loved crossing the creek on horseback! 😊
