![- [ ] Now i know this was released in 2016, but I recently watched this Korean film as it was mentioned in one of Running man’s episode. I’m always fascinated about films that depicts the time during the height of 1st/2nd world war. This film was set during the Japanese rule in Korea. It follows the story of Korean Police Captain (played by Song Kang-ho) that was tasked to expose and capture the Korean Resistance movement members (on behalf of the Japanese Government) .But that changes everything after he met with Korean resistance member, Kim Woo Jin (played by Gong Yoo), who tries to convince him to help the resistance instead. As an outsider, I love the effort that was done to depict life back in those days and a little bit of historical understanding of Korea. The acting was intense as usual and an overall great cinematography.
