Hustlers

A group of women start drugging and robbing wealthy men. Thought this was great after watching and it’s only grown on me more since then. The performances are fantastic all around, Jennifer Lopez is getting a lot of the Oscar buzz but I thought Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart and Cardi B were just as good. All of the characters play off each other really well, some of the best scenes were just the characters talking to each other in the dressing room. The plot is a pretty straightforward rise and fall crime story, but the performances really drive the train here. My only knock is that the movie starts really strong and doesn’t quite keep that same pace all the way through, but that’s not to say that it got boring at any point. Big recommend on this one, feel like this will eventually make my top 10 list of the year 8/10.
