This place. ❤️ We moved from Brooklyn to Vermont 10 years ago this year. I had grown up here, my husband had not. We started renovating the barn next to my parents house into a live/work space and building a family and a life here. ⚒ And oh yeah, it all happened during the financial crash of 2008, and many of the stores I had been supplying couldn’t order anymore. So I also had to change up my business, and do it quick. My main plan was based on obsessively learning photography so I could build a website and start selling directly to customers online and at local craft fairs. It has brought a lot of change and challenges, but has meant I spend a lot of time reaching out to you all with images and words here on the inter webs, and building this amazingly sustaining online community. ✨✨ I can’t tell you how important you all are to me, now that I live at the end of a long dirt road with no other humans in site. ❤️❤️❤️ I feel more creatively connected here than I ever did, which is amazing if you see where I live.
