Banana bread vegan/not vegan
This banana bread is tender, sweet and scented with spices that complements the banana flavor perfectly.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cups all purpose flour
1 cup semolina
1 cup whole wheat flour
11/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs or 3 flax eggs ( vegan)
1 cup yogurt or plant based milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp cloves powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
1cups semisweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS *Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. *Grease and dust a baking pan with flour .
*In a bowl mix dry ingredients including spices
In a second bowl mix liquid ingredients
*Add dry ingredients to liquid with contineous whisking until combined
*Add chopped walnuts *pour batter into prepared pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of morsels on top and bake for 50-55 minutes. .
