There’s something really incredible being out of the city and away from the noise. It’s so quiet you almost forget what quiet really sounds like. Took the @redmtnresort challenge hike to Rim Runner trail right on the edge of the Mojave desert and hiked 4.5 miles surrounded by the vast desert and red mountains. Just breathtaking that this is all here and I found a new appreciation for something I never thought could be beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to spend literally focusing on my breathe (because steep hills) and each step (because twisted ankles aren’t cute either).
