Day 23 of #modernhomesteadchallenge - Home Sweet Home
We have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this home since purchasing it three years ago! We went for a fixer upper that had mostly cosmetic needs because it was the biggest house and biggest yard that we could get with our budget. To be honest, the Zillow listing caught my eye that day at work because under the description it said “big yard, great for vegetable gardening.” 😂
While it’s true that I LOVE the yard (it’s one of my favorite places in Nashville) I also love the house for all the renovations that two clueless wanna-be DIYers have jumped into head first. We have watched a lot of YouTube videos, purchased a lot of power tools, and learned a lot along the way! We still have a long list of projects, but I am super proud of all we’ve accomplished already. ☺️ Challenge inspired by:
