🍷 Roussanne grape name was inspired by it's russet aka roux color of it's skin. It's most often used as a blending partner to Syrah in Rhone along with the productive white grape Marsanne. In America, specifically California Roussanne reigns supreme. 🔥

Opening the bottles in the comforts of our home, there have been disappointments & some thrilling moments. And yesterday was inarguably one of the moments that validated Bob Lindquist & Jim Clendon's of @aubonclimatwine trimphant partnership in wine, where to this day they continue to handcraft a cornucopia of deeply-intriguing wines at unbelievably modest prices.
