Drove to OC Animal Care first thing this morning to get Brooklyn to intake (open 7am - 9pm). Here he’ll be neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas, and microchipped. If he is deemed friendly enough, he’ll become adoptable, otherwise he’ll be eartipped and returned to his home on the street, which is part of the shelter’s magnificent Return to Field program (also called #TNR). This has been such an emotional experience for me, and I am so relieved he is getting the care he so desperately needs (and deserves). .
