Yesterday, me Max and Frost decided to try our first local canicross run. We only ever run alone, so I had no idea how they would do. Honestly, the first 5 minutes was filled with regret. We tried to stay at the back, because Frost (playfully) lunged at dogs in a close proximity and I genuinely thought "this isn't going to work". Thankfully, after a few corrections he understood what was expected. They then dragged me around the run faster than I thought I could run with perfect focus. We overtook various dogs without lunging and frost even ignored one dog trying to mount him! (Very proud). Today, my legs are sore and stiff, but I absolutely loved it 🐾
