Loved being in Clinton, OK today. I met Pastor Joe in the chemo room at Integris Southwest, and he was testifying to how good God was; despite fighting Leukemia, driving regularly from Clinton, OK to #OKC, and facing his 105th chemo next week.
I was honored when he invited me to his church to preach the Sunday morning sermon, and then share lunch with some of the congregation. There is always joy to be found when fellow-shipping with other believers!
PS When in western Oklahoma, and everyone in town is eating at the same buffet for Sunday lunch you indulge, and it was amazing! Branding Iron Restaurant.

My summary:
Life is hard and there are going to be disappointments, hardships, and we are going to question God’s plan, but we can remember David’s words:
God is at your right hand
You don't have to feel shaken, so rejoice
We have hope and joy in His presence “David said about him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope,
27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let me see decay.
28 You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’
