Some people are very attached to their #belongings making quite hard to get rid of things. Sometimes they end up living in a #cluttered place rather than an #organised, #clear space. The common reasoning behind this, is that they feel they have the opportunity to save their #items.
Does this sound like you? Well, you are not alone, and there is nothing wrong with you. ๐
However, a cluttered environment consumes your thoughts and your #time, and #tidying up becomes a much harder task. ๐ฐ๐ฐ Without realising it, you begin to feel #overwhelmed. You spend far too much of your valuable time looking for things. Stress levels increase because you canโt reconcile the need to be organised with the #desire to keep everything you want. ๐ฑ๐ฑ If you are facing this scenario, hereโs the thing; you donโt need most of that stuff. ๐๐ In fact, 80% of the time we use only 20% of our belongings. This is the 80/20 Pareto Principle - a very interesting concept which I will delve deeper into on another occasion.
So if you are at that point, where you feel itโs all becoming a little overwhelming, itโs time to make some #decisions about what you will keep and what you wonโt. ๐ค๐ค This flow chart will help you with these decisions. Be honest with yourself and donโt be afraid to get rid of some belongings. You are the one who knows what you really need to keep. Despite how you may feel beforehand, it is actually very unlikely you will later regret letting go of unnecessary things, and even if you do, you will find a way to replace them. ๐ช๐ So go ahead and let your place breathe again, make room for new things and designate a place for each kept belonging. If you need a hand, well, I am here for you! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ @organizaction.po .
