For those of you who wonder “how can I be losing inches but not much weight”...read this! 🤔<br /><br />You’ve probably heard that "muscle weighs more than fat" however,  a pound is a pound, as you see in the photo.... this should help you better understand why a photo can show results when the scales do not move. <br />Think about a pound of marshmallows (fat) vs. a pound of apples (muscle). Both weigh the same, yet carrying around a pound of marshmallows is going to take up A LOT more 'room' than carrying around a pound of apples.😲 💪🏻Since a pound of muscle is smaller in size than a pound of fat (fat takes up approximately 4x the space of muscle tissue) it's very possible to LOOK and FEEL slimmer even if your weight remains the same!!!! 🙌<br /><br />This is why it’s important to not focus on just the number on the scale!<br /><br />#MindOverMatter #MuscleOverMatter #ThinkAboutIt #GetOffTheScale #FoodForThought
