I can't tell you how many times I've been depressed because of some mistake I've made or some sin I've fallen back in to, and when it came to praise and worship at church, or even in my quiet time... I felt like I couldn't. I felt so ashamed. Or so guilty, that I couldn't sing. I couldn't lift my arms. I couldnt worship at all. Because I had made a mistake. You see, that is an amazing tactic of the enemy to prevent you from getting EXACTLY what you need in that moment! The PRESENCE of GOD! We enter His gates with Thanksgiving, we enter His courts with Praise! (Pslams 100) The Word of God says there is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! Meaning, Jesus is not mad at you for that mistake! He's not holding it against you! He paid for it 2000 years ago on the cross! He's waiting for you to repent, get in His presence, and be refreshed and renewed! Satan is the accuser! So from now on, don't let what's wrong with you, stop you from worshiping what's right with God! It's in those moments of failure and mistake that we need Him more than ever! And He's right there, arms open wide, waiting for you! Someone needs to know that RIGHT NOW! Stop waiting, stop being depressed, run to the Father and worship! Not because you're deserving, but because HE IS!
