Stairs, stairs and more stairs up to the Arashiyama Monkey Park in Kyoto. Not an easy climb at all especially with the 39 degrees temperature and high humidity in early August when we went. The path and stairs can be uneven so this isn’t for those with accessibility challenges. The view at the top is stellar but the best part are the monkeys.
