Coron ~ The Philippines
I have posted a few pix of Palawan (either Coron or El Nido) over the last few months but they were all taken by day. However, sunset time is pretty magical too and this little restaurant, right on the harbour was one of the best places to enjoy it. The food wasn’t particularly memorable (truth be known, I don’t rank Filipino food very highly 😊) but the view was mesmerising… the colours went from pink, to orange, to purple in the space of 20 minutes.
There are lots of cheap air connections from Manila straight to Coron and then you’ll have more beaches at your fingertips than you’ll have time for… even if you can spare a few weeks ! The Philippines is truly one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen and great value for money too. I can’t believe I waited till I was 49 to visit.
