I often have people ask me how to cook using no oil?<br />•<br />When I first found the WFPB diet and started eating this way my meals were quite bland. I didn't think that there was a lot I could make if I wasn't using any oil. It wasn't until I found the recipes on the @forksoverknives website that it all changed.<br />•<br />After using these recipes for a few months I started to pick up all the tricks and now I feel like I could cook anything without oil. It's even a fun challenge trying to find substitutes to recreate old favourite meals.<br />•<br />A few tips for cooking with no oil that I use are:<br />🍇 sautè in vegetable broth or water<br />🍉 use good quality non stick pans and always bake using baking paper<br />🍊 use apple sauce, banana or maple syrup in baking as a replacement for the oil<br />🍋 use flax eggs to add moisture that oil would<br />🍍 boil a tablespoon of flaxseeds in 1/2 cup water until the water turns to an egg white consistency, then drain and discard seeds.
