One of our favorite hotels is turning 109 today! @theusgrant hotel is located in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, we love that it is near popular attractions, such as the San Diego Zoo, Petco Park and Balboa Park

A little fun fact about The hotel is that it was built by Ulysses S. Grant, Jr., son of president Ulysses S. Grant, who named the hotel after his father. Grant bought the Horton House Hotel and demolished it to construct the current hotel
